HSBC is currently seeking an ambitious individual for the role of Senior Account Manager to join their GPS sales team within Commercial Banking, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. Responsibilities’ of Senior Account Manager
- Provide regional and domestic client service; manages and grows the cash management relationships; ensures client satisfaction and acts as primary contact of GPS to customers. Leads and works with other areas of the Bank on the crafting and provision of service
- Facilitate discussions externally with clients at senior levels and internally in the bank with Treasury, IT, and NSC for payment processing and query resolution and fixing recurring issues
- Maximize GPS revenue by account planning, cross selling, deepening wallet share and increasing stickiness
- Maintain and improve delivery of client service excellence
- Assume responsibility for feedback from internal/external clients for activities within the Client Services.
- Ensure identifying and referring cross selling opportunities for the GPS product suite
- Establish and develop close working relationships with pertinent country and Group offices and operational areas to ensure excellent customer service
- Represent the interest of Client Service at steering committees and working groups
- Support new and existing colleagues promoting and contributing to an engagement culture
- Act as an ambassador for the team and contribute fully to its development, effectiveness and success, share knowledge, experience and best practices with junior RMs within and outside of immediate team and promote a collective culture to spread experience & best practice
- Continually reassess the key risks inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices
- Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring
Requirements of Senior Account Manager
- Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
- Professional qualification like certified ICM/CTP is highly preferred.
- 5-6 years of experience in similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Excellent knowledge and direct experience of service provision and how customer service impacts client perception.
- In depth knowledge of industry standards related to all Cash. Management products and services.
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder management
- Diligent, not afraid to get into the detail.
- Self starter, highly motivated and determined.
- Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.
- Be multilingual, Mandarin & English languages are essential.
