GEMS World Academy Dubai is looking for an innovative SEN Teacher to join their successful team from August 2024 to 2025. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in effective teaching and helping students succeed. While experience in teaching the IB Primary Years Programme is preferred, outstanding teachers from any curriculum background are encouraged to apply. Alignment with the IB philosophy and commitment to the Learner Profile values are crucial. A genuine passion for working in a non selective and culturally diverse community is also a key requirement. The selected candidate will be responsible to play a crucial role in ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed and reach their full potential.

Job Requirements of SEN Teacher

The requirements for the job role of SEN Teacher are as under:

• A certified professional teaching qualification at degree level, such as B. Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism in Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• A minimum of 3 years varied and demonstrable experience working within SEN students, ideally within an IB curriculum school, however, this is not mandatory.
• The experience, personality and educational philosophy to continue to drive the education agenda at this flagship GEMS IB World School, catering for students from over 100 countries.
