SEN Teacher – GEMS Royal Dubai School
GEMS Royal Dubai School is recruiting a dedicated SEN Teacher to support students with special educational needs across the school. This role involves delivering targeted interventions, working closely with class teachers and ensuring every student can access the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver targeted intervention programmes for students with identified SEN
- Work 1:1 and in small groups to support students with learning difficulties
- Collaborate with class teachers to differentiate lessons and resources
- Contribute to the writing and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Liaise with parents, the SENDCO and external specialists
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field
- PGCE, QTS or equivalent with SEN specialism
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a SEN teaching role
- Experience with ASD, dyslexia, ADHD and speech and language difficulties
- Knowledge of KHDA inclusion requirements
Salary and Benefits
- Tax-free salary: AED 12,000 – 18,000 per month
