Responsibilities of Security Guard

Surveillance and Monitoring

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security and detect potential issues.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats.
• Access Control
• Verify the identity of all individuals entering the property.
• Issue and manage access cards, keys, or other credentials as needed.

Emergency Response

• Respond quickly and effectively to all security-related incidents or emergencies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.

Customer Service

• Provide a welcoming and helpful presence to residents and visitors.
• Assist with inquiries and provide information as needed.

Report Writing

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related incidents, activities, and observations.
• Submit daily or incident-specific reports to the appropriate authorities.

Collaboration

• Work closely with property management, maintenance, and other staff to address security concerns and maintain a safe environment.

Risk Assessment

• Identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to enhance the overall safety of the property.

Requirements of Security Guard

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience of 1 – 2 Years as a security guard or relevant position.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and emergency response.
