Section Manager Geant GMG Dubai

A Section Manager at Geant (brand linked to GMG) in Al Khail Rd, Dubai, UAE will manage day to day running of the assigned section and ensure that all standards in sales, service, display, stock availability, and staff are met to achieve targets. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 7000-15000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for achieving the annual budget plan set for the financial year for the section.
• Support the store manager with formulating section forecasts on a monthly basis.
• Determine the quantity of goods to be ordered from the suppliers and Raise purchase orders for receipt of products.
• Analyze bestsellers in terms of price points and type to ensure that bestsellers reach their full potential, furthermore analyze slow sellers and respond accordingly.
• Prepare weekly and monthly management information system reports that cover sales, budget ratio, negative turnovers, month and year to date comparisons, hygiene and stock numbers to analyze performance with the store manager.
• Coordinate with the decoration team for provisional promotional themes regarding the section.
• Ensure that the section is ready to trade before store opening and guide the team on the same.
• Coordinate with IT team regularly for pricing updates and adjustments to barcodes.
• Communicate with maintenance teams for all asset repair issues
• Ensure that stock is display by expiry dates and that damage or expire goods will remove from the display area
• Ensure the HACCP standards in the section are maintain and ensure strict adherence to company health and safety policies throughout the section.
• Ensure that all brand guidelines and standard operating procedures will be follow as mention in company policy manuals.

Requirements for Role of Section Manager

• High School/Diploma.
• 1-3 years experience in Retail market IT systems & Sales.
