Job Description

Section Manager in Fruits & Vegetables at GMG candidate will be responsible to look after the day to day running of the section and ensure that all standards in stock, display and service are met. Desirous candidates fulfilling under mentioned criteria are encouraged to submit their applications.

Responsibilities of Section Manager

  • Ensure proper stocking, arrangement and sorting of the displayed section.
  • Ensure to correctly place the right barcodes and price labels on all products throughout the section.
  • Arrange the warehouse order based on expiry dates to ensure efficient transfer of the product to the floor.
  • Participate in stock take and be responsible for stock accuracy by arranging and labeling stock correctly.
  • Activate manual in and manual out stock adjustments to ensure updating and highlighting of wastage and shrinkage numbers with approvals.
  • Timely brief the staff about new promotions, offers and new product arrivals.
  • Ensure proper coordination with the decoration team to decorate the section according to the set plan.
  • Ensure that you always maintain the hygiene of the section well throughout the day.

Requirements for Role of Section Manager

  • High School or Diploma.
  • 1-3 years experience in retail management on in a similar role.
