The Section Head Monitoring & Control Section at Emirates Schools Establishment is responsible for the strategic oversight and leadership of the centralized monitoring and control operations across all schools and facilities. This executive role entails ensuring the highest standards of security, safety, and efficiency in surveillance and incident response across the network. Leading a large team, the Section Head will develop, implement, and refine security protocols, leveraging cutting edge technology and best practices to safeguard students, staff, and assets.

Duties of Section Head Security

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive security strategy for monitoring and control operations.
• Oversee the integration of advanced surveillance technologies and methodologies to enhance security posture.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and operators.
• Promote a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional development.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary security liaison with senior management, law enforcement, emergency services, and external security partners.
• Ensure clear communication and coordination on security matters.
• Policy Development: Craft and revise security policies, standards, and guidelines in line with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure policies effectively address emerging threats and technological advancements.
• Crisis Management and Emergency Response: Lead the organization’s preparedness and response to security incidents and emergencies.
• Develop and oversee simulation exercises to test and refine response protocols.
• Budget Management: Oversee the security budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources towards technology upgrades, training, and personnel.
• Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all monitoring and control activities.
• Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance and operational effectiveness.
• Innovation and Technology Integration: Stay abreast of technological advancements in security and surveillance.
• Champion the adoption of innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reporting and Analysis: Provide comprehensive security reports to executive leadership, offering insights into trends, challenges, and performance metrics.

Job Requirements of Section Head Security

• Bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in security leadership, preferably in a large, complex organization with a focus on surveillance and monitoring.
