Job Description

Duties of Secondary Assistant Head Teacher

  • The day to day management of the school.
  • Formulating the aims and objectives of the school.
  • Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives.

  • Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s aims and objectives.
  • The assistant headteacher will also have a timetabled teaching commitment.

Job Requirements of Secondary Assistant Head Teacher

  • Master’s degree in education or a related field is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree with a postgraduate qualification (PGCE).
  • Minimum 4 year experience in similar role.
