Job Description
Secondary Assistant Head Teacher at GEMS Founders School Al Mizhar is responsible to communicating the school’s vision compellingly and supporting the headteacher’s strategic leadership. Duties of Secondary Assistant Head Teacher
- The day to day management of the school.
- Formulating the aims and objectives of the school.
- Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives.
- Managing staff and resources to that end.
- Monitoring progress towards the achievement of the school’s aims and objectives.
- The assistant headteacher will also have a timetabled teaching commitment.
- They may also be required to undertake any of the duties delegated from the headteacher.

Job Requirements of Secondary Assistant Head Teacher
- Master’s degree in education or a related field is preferred, but a bachelor’s degree with a postgraduate qualification (PGCE).
- Minimum 4 year experience in similar role.
