About the Role

Muna British Academy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Science Teacher to join the school for the academic year 2026-2027. Key Responsibilities

As a Science Teacher, you will demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum and teach using appropriate syllabus and materials to develop students’ skills in science. Moreover, you will plan lessons effectively in the long, medium, and short term to meet individual learning needs. In addition, you will create a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates students through enjoyable and creative lessons. Furthermore, you will support SEN, EAL, and gifted and talented students through effective differentiation. You will also manage classes effectively, maintain positive relationships with pupils, and carry out duties as directed within the school’s established policies.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. or PGCE qualification. Additionally, experience in an international school setting is considered an advantage. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child with a high level of professionalism. Furthermore, previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is valued, along with recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities.
