School Counsellor – Regent International School, Dubai

Regent International School in Dubai is seeking a qualified School Counsellor to support student wellbeing, mental health and pastoral care across the school. This role is essential for maintaining a safe, supportive and nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counselling to students
• Support students experiencing emotional, social or behavioural difficulties
• Develop and deliver wellbeing programmes and PSHE sessions
• Liaise with parents, teachers and external agencies regarding student welfare
• Manage referrals to external counselling and support services
• Contribute to the school’s safeguarding and child protection policies

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology or School Counselling
• Professional counselling certification or licensure
• Minimum 3 years of school counselling experience
• Experience with children and adolescents
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection

Salary and Benefits

• Tax-free salary: AED 14,000 – 20,000 per month
