Responsibilities of School Bus Driver

• Safely operate a school bus to transport students to and from school and activities
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus
• Ensure the safety of students during boarding, travel, and disembarking
• Follow all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Enforce school bus rules and maintain a positive and respectful environment
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills as required
• Report any issues, incidents, or delays to the transportation coordinator
• Perform basic maintenance checks on the bus as needed

Requirements of School Bus Driver

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid CDL with required endorsements for school bus operation
• Previous experience of  1 – 2 Years as a school bus driver is a plus
