Education industry is currently seeking attentive and responsible individuals to join their team as School Bus Assistant in Dubai. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well being of students during their bus commute to and from school.

Responsibilities of School Bus Assistant

• Assist students as they board and exit the school bus, ensuring they do so safely and without rushing.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain order on the bus, enforcing safety rules and addressing any disruptive behavior promptly and appropriately.
• Assist students with functional needs, including helping them secure mobility aids, fasten seat belts, and navigate the bus safely.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide information and updates regarding bus schedules, routes, and any delays or issues.
• Conduct pre trip and post trip inspections of the bus to ensure it is clean, well maintained, and free from hazards.
• Assist the bus driver in conducting emergency evacuation drills and responding to emergency situations or incidents on the bus.
• Maintain accurate records of student ridership, including attendance, seating assignments, and any incidents or accidents that occur during transportation.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of student transportation policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the bus driver and other school bus staff to promote a positive and supportive environment for students during their bus commute.

Requirements of School Bus Assistant

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in child development, education, or related fields is a plus.
• Physical stamina and flexibility to assist students as they board and exit the bus, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred but not required.
• Previous experience of 1-2 years working with children or in a school setting preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
