An exciting opportunity has been announced by Albatha Group for the job role of SAP Master Data Analyst in Dubai. Job holder will ensure the accuracy, completeness and consistency of master data to support various business functions and processes. Also, collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce data quality standards, implement data governance policies and contribute to the overall efficiency of business operations. Specific area of responsibility would be managing SAP logistics related master data, L1 support on logistics processes in SAP.

Responsibilities of SAP Master Data Analyst

Business Performance

• Management, support and maintenance of master data in SAP PP, MM, WMS, SD, and QM.
• Provide L1 support to business users on the above modules.
• Assist users and perform UAT.
• User authorizations management and control.
• Document business processes and keep updating.
• Prepare business requirements documents.
• Create and maintain training content in SAP Enable Now.
• Oversee the creation, modification and deletion of master data records in SAP, including but not limited to customer, vendor, material, BOM, Master recipe, resources, condition records, MIC checklist, Activity types and rates.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation rules, cleansing procedures and regular internal audits.
• Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to maintain a high level of data quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data standards, naming conventions and data classification..
• Identify opportunities for process improvement related to master data management and implement best practices.
• Recommend and implement enhancements to SAP master data processes to optimize efficiency.
• To identify, train and develop a set of super users.
• Leverage strong combination of analytical and technical skills and design best practice in close collaboration with business users.
• Support the delivery of application enhancement programs through BPM and BPR.
• To comply with company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to the improvement of the solutions and business processes.
• Develops and maintains documentation for technical solution modifications.
• To comply with data security measures as per information security policies and procedures.
• To study business user information needs, confer with users and study systems flow, data usage and work processes to develop sustainable software solutions.
• To implement controls required by Federal or Local Government Laws & Regulations.

Customers and Partner Relations

• To coordinate provision of excellence customer service to all business application users while maintaining professional standards.
• To coordinate activities to respond promptly to internal customers’ request for support.
• To maintain effective working relationships and interaction with users to ensure alignment of Group IT and Business Objectives.
• To identify and implement various initiatives to improve user satisfaction and SAP support.
• To collect user feedback to improve service levels and to meet commitments to internal customers.
• To resolve helpdesk issues as per the SLA’s.
• To collect SAP training requirements from the different divisions and coordinate internal and external training sessions.

People Development

• Should be team orientated, generating a strong sense of team spirit amongst the colleagues and other supporting departments for working towards a shared vision.
• Establish and maintain a participative and supportive team culture amongst all team members.
• Communicate clear performance objectives and individual performance targets to all team members.

• To suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solution using BPM methodology.
• Keeps the management team abreast of significant issues or developments identified and actions being taken to improve the situation.
• Ensure commitment and team progress towards the divisional and corporate mission, vision and core values through monthly team meetings.
• Prepare formal reports for senior management expressing an opinion on the quality of IT systems and incorporating agreed solutions to process gaps.

Requirements for Role of SAP Master Data Analyst

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or business administration.
• 5+ years’ experience in SAP Master data management.
• SAP certification in one or more relevant SAP modules.
• Experience with data migration projects.
• Experience in creating business requirement documents (BRD).
• A Project Management certification is a plus.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate and complete transfer of master data during system implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of data quality tools and methodologies.
• Understanding and application of Accelerated SAP Activate methodology.
• Team player and good interpersonal skills for interacting with other modules such as WMS, SD, PP and QM.
