Responsibilities of Sales Governance Manager

  • Ensure all the underlying policies and procedures are adhered on an ongoing basis.
  • Ensure regular checks are conducted ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements related to retail banking sales activities.
  • Evaluate and enhance sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify and assess risks associated with retail banking sales activities.
  • Work with risk management teams to develop strategies for mitigating potential risks.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address compliance gaps, implementing corrective measures as needed
  • Ensure all the bank defined policies and procedures are being duly followed by the EI sales as well as DSAs. (Direct Sales)
  • Conduct regular checks ensuring compliance to the underlying policies and procedures and any non conformance is being identify and resolve accordingly.
  • Perform Regular analysis based upon available data and support Senior Manager Sales Governance in enhancing the current process.

Requirements of Sales Governance Manager

The requirements of Sales Governance Manager are as under:

  • Graduate with understanding of Sales Governance function Local banking regulations.
  • Conversant with full range of Banking Products and Services.
  • Hands on experience of handling DSAs (Direct Sales) and related BAU matters.
  • A minimum of 8 years professional experience in Banking with in-depth experience in Operations, Retail Banking, Branch Banking.
  • At least 05 years of experience in a relevant Sales Governance function required.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
  • Understanding of the bank operations, products, policies, regulations, compliance, and risk management is require.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation skills, good organizational leadership and interpersonal skills are must
  • Good knowledge of the Policy, Procedures, Standards, local and international regulations.
  • Analytical Thinking/ Business Orientated
  • Interpersonal across work groups.
  • Self motivated, team player, ability to work with senior management teams
  • Seniority Level.
