Purpose of Sales Executive

At GMG (UAE), a Sales Executive of Area Accounts / Traditional Trade has the job role of Maintaining Relationships, Increasing Business with retail accounts and Assisting generation of new client accounts in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. The Area Sales Executive will be responsible to oversee all Proactive customer development tasks and ensure Consistent High-level service throughout the sales cycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages the Day-to-day sales activities to achieve sales targets through Profitable Business Relationships.
  • Identifies, qualifies, and solicits proactively new business and manages other active accounts to achieve Individual Revenue goals in line with the Business’s Budgetary Objectives.
  • Uses Negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.
  • Prepares Accurate Proposals, Contracts, Quotations and other Documents related to sales activities.

Your Duties as Sales Executive

  • Provide Ongoing support to clients by Communicating and Conducting visits to ensure relationships are maintained.
  • Communicate accurately with supporting departments to ensure Effective execution of client requirements.
  • Being a Salesperson, source new sales opportunities by meeting with Procurement and Senior Management decision-makers.
  • Develop and implement a clearly defined sales plan for new and existing accounts.
  • Proactively track the performance of your accounts to identify key drivers of the performance. Implement corrective actions to deliver against sales targets.
  • Competitor Analysis to convert accounts.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to ensure timely collection of overdue payments from the accounts.

Desired Candidature

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related courses.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of Experience in UAE managing Area Accounts/Traditional Trade/ Salesperson.
  • 3+ years’ sales/Business Development Experience in the FMCG Industry, managing Area Accounts/Traditional Trade Stores.
  • Proven record in driving new Business Revenue and delivering annual sales growth through new business and client Relationship Management within the UAE.

Licensure

  • A UAE driving license is mandatory.

Skills

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally and work Cross-functionally involving supporting departments.
  • High standards of Professional conduct with Excellent Presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Strong Financial and Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate with Corporate senior-level decision-makers.
