Responsibilities of Sales Associates

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs.
  • Provide product information, features, and benefits to customers and answer any questions they may have.
  • Assist customers in making purchasing decisions and upsell or cross-sell additional products or services as appropriate.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including arranging merchandise displays and restocking shelves.
  • Monitor and replenish inventory levels to ensure products are readily available for customers.
  • Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments and verifying inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in promotional events, sales campaigns, and product demonstrations to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including compliance with safety and security protocols.

Requirements of Sales Associates

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.
  • Prior experience of 1-2 years in retail sales, customer service, or a related field preferred but not required.

Skills and Knowledge desired

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
