Responsibilities of A Sales Acquisition Manager

  • High level engagement with key large accounts executive management and key stakeholders in order to develop comprehensive account plan and selling strategy.
  • Build strong pipeline along with internal marketing and Account teams to increase customer’s market penetration & maximize existing revenue.
  • Responsible for achieving the yearly targets set by the line manager.
  • Work with Product Marketing to perform the market analysis and sizing.
  • Responsible for the understanding of customer needs and the translation into a high level service offering (commercial proposal).
  • Responsible for customer coordination and follow up throughout the sales cycle and for closing sales with customers.
  • Responsible for thought leadership within du on the state of the market for Fixed Services.
  • Responsible to act as evangelist in client meetings, public lectures, panels, conferences and shows.
  • Responsible for updating and managing Sales Pipeline in CRM, BI & SFA.
  • Sales engagement process.

Qualification Requirements for Role of Sales Acquisition Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in IT or telecommunications with 2+ years in product/project/service management and 2+ years in sales account management.

Skills Desired

  • Independent and kick starting approach to doing business and to selling.
  • Solid Sales and communication skills.
  • Time management and organization skills.
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.
  • Knowledge of the Sales Cycle is essential.
  • Basic Knowledge of the telecom and IT market dynamics, specifically IP Transit, Internet Peering, VPN, BGP, MPLS, WiMAX, Wi-Fi, Management of Customer Premise Equipment, Broadband and VSAT solutions.
  • General technical understanding of connected (IP) products.
