Safety Officer Oil & Gas NAFFCO Abu Dhabi

NAFFCO is presently seeking to hire a Male candidate with Any Arab National, Indian, Filipino, Pakistani National for the job role of a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas in 12th Floor, Tamouh Tower, Marina Square, Al Reem Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Safety Officer

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide safety training and education programs to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
• Investigate and report accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for various work activities and projects.
• Serve as a safety advocate and provide guidance and support to employees for maintaining a safe work environment.’

Requirements for Role of Safety Officer

• MUST HAVE NEBOSH Certificate.
• ADNOC APPROVED/CERTIFIED.
• MUST HAVE OIL & GAS Experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Professional certification in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a safety role within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in conducting safety inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Solid understanding of industry safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, API, ISO).
• Strong knowledge of emergency response planning and implementation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate safety information to diverse audiences.
