Responsibilities of Safety Officer
- Ensuring the team follows and implements JAMS site QHSE plan.
- Observing, logging, and ensuring identified unsafe acts/conditions are closed out as per client requirements.
- Completing and submitting a Monthly HSE project performance report.
- Providing information, technical advice, and support to the site supervisor on HSE matters, including legislation, standards, codes of practice etc.
- Leading a weekly project HSE site walk and meeting.
- Monitoring project incidents to ensure their proper investigation and initiation of timely action to prevent a recurrence.
- Conducting an ‘Incident Review’ of all significant incidents and issue a full report to the HSE Manager.
- Assisting project teams to review HSE considerations in the selection of service providers and Contractors.
- Following JAMS HR Solutions internal incident procedures for reporting incidents.
- Monitoring HSE issues identified during workplace inspections, audits and as a result of incidents to ensure the implementation of all corrective actions identified to prevent a recurrence.
- Ensuring conduction and recording of weekly project HSE inspection.
Requirements of Safety Officer
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related subject, from a recognized University.
- Nebosh IGC certified (candidates who certified before 2019 are preferable)
- Any other HSE certificates will be advantages.
- Must has 3 years as HSE Officer in constructions.

- Excellent report writing
- Excel skills and Microsoft office.
