Job Purpose of A Runner

Deliver luggage, guest belongings, messages and faxes efficiently and with utmost responsibility / care.

Job Duties of A Runner

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Hotel, including all departments, services and outlets.
• Always have a smiling, helpful and friendly attitude towards guests and provide  professional welcoming services to all incoming / outgoing guests.
• Assist guests with directions within the hotel i.e. guiding them to their room or any other desired place.
• Assist guests with loading/unloading of luggage as well as shifting it to the room  with utmost care.
• Issue tags to luggage items of each guest.
• Deliver faxes, messages, parcels, mail and newspapers to guest rooms in a timely manner after necessary verification from guests about name & room number.
• Act as a sales person of paramount Hotel and is able to sell our products
• Follow all relevant SOP’s, policies and procedures of paramount Hotel.

Qualification & Experience

• Secondary education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as runner in an international five star hotel with more than 500 rooms.
• Knowledge of basic hospitality and guest services.
