Rostering Administrator (Talent Pool) at Serco will be responsible to maintain the rostering for all Serco ME contracts, using the Time2Work workforce management tool. The role will involve improving efficiencies through the optimal use of resources across the business. Provide forecasting, planning, and scheduling through the Time2Work tool. This opportunity would suit organised HR/Rostering Admin professionals with strong systems experience, the ability to multi-task and manage various tasks and prioritising skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have solid communication skills and experience of managing stakeholders of all levels. This role will be based at their corporate office in Dubai and will be expected to travel to client sites across UAE. Job ID for this vacancy 291497. 

Responsibilities of A Rostering Administrator

  • Compiling and publishing rosters using the Time2Work Rostering Tool in accordance with company policies and standards and forecasted demand monthly
  • Manually maintain a backup schedule
  • Incorporating the following in all planned staff schedules: Leave, Training, Off Days, Staff Weekly and monthly hours.
  • Tracking of staff movements on a day to day operation.
  • Developing and implementing deployments plans over peak periods.
  • Creating and maintaining an overall staff annual leave plan.
  • Planning and scheduling of all required training in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Deal with staff roster issues and make necessary adjustments to provide efficient and effective duty arrangements.
  • Monitor and review the effectiveness of the roster arrangements, make necessary adjustments and escalate to Head of WFM for any issues that require further management review.
  • Update and maintain data in relevant sections and accurately record all the staff resourcing, availability, and overtime.
  • Record and update assigned department staff leaves including but not limited to annual leaves, sick leave, time-of-in-lieu (TOIL) quota and claims in the Human Resource System (SAP).
  • Ensure correct overtime submitted, processed and paid to respective staff as per the assigned department whilst coordinating with the HR Department.

Requirements For Rostering Administrator

The eligibility requirements for role of a Rostering Administrator are as under:

  • High School Diploma, General Education Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Have 2 years of minimum experience in a Roster Planner role for large (1,000+) workforce.
  • Working knowledge of Time2Work workforce management tool or similar rostering tool.
  • Industry experience in Retail, Aviation, F&B, hospitality is desirable.
  • Arabic language skills are preferred.
