Job Title

Room Attendant

Responsibilities

  • Keep guest rooms and public areas spick and span to Hilton’s standards.
  • Sort and process laundry, keeping linens fresh and ready.
  • Jump on guest requests quick to keep them chuffed.
  • Team up with mates to tackle daily cleaning and laundry jobs.
  • Check guest details in the CRM to nail their special requests.
  • Sort flowers or fancy linens for big moments like weddings.
  • Track lost and found gear and handle monthly donations.
  • Send uniforms for a wash or fix to keep them looking sharp.
  • Manage the flow of paperwork and people in housekeeping.
  • Handle daily linen releases to the laundry crew.
  • Cover for the Laundry Attendant when they’re off or away.
  • Tally up monthly laundry costs and jot down reports.
  • Keep master keys safe and stick to safety rules.
  • Stay sharp to keep cleaning standards on point.
  • Chip in at team catch-ups to share ideas and keep things smooth.

Requirements

Education

  • High school diploma or similar a plus.
  • Hospitality or cleaning certs give you a leg up.

Experience

Some time spent in housekeeping or laundry work.

Skills

  • Ace at keeping rooms and linens tip-top clean.
  • Great at gelling with the housekeeping crew.
  • Clear talker, whether chatting or writing notes.
  • Handy with computers for CRM and basic tasks.
