Road Assist Mechanic at Al Nabooda Automobiles in Juma Al Nabooda Building, Khalifa,146 Sheikh Zayed Rd, Dubai, UAE will diagnose, the range of Audi vehicles in accordance with principal work specifications ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service. Pre testing customers vehicles on site using the Audi Assist Vehicle. Ensure that work is completed to the highest possible standard, and within agreed timescales to ensure customer satisfaction. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-6000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Using diagnostic equipment and a systemic approach, ensure vehicles faults are diagnose and rectifies.
• Proceed to customer requested location with the Audi Assist Vehicle adhering to road regulations, testing and pre diagnosing any concerns and advising the customer accordingly
• Completing pre diagnosis documentation to book the work in to the workshop
• Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out, liaise with Service Advisor to advise on additional work and timescales for completion.
• Work with other workshop and Service Advisors colleagues to provide excellent customer service, share best practice.
• Repairs:
• Overhaul, repair and re-assemble complex mechanical components as require, ensuring that work is complete to the highest possible standard and within agreed timescales.
• Identify and correct any wheel alignment problems.
• Warranty: Identify any work require that is cover by the warranty process, ensure all documentation is complete, coordinate with warranty department.
• Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, Service Report) in line with warranty and dealer requirements.
• Operational: Maintain workshop housekeeping standards at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
• Maintain the Audi Assist vehicle in clean, tidy and maintained order
• Ensure that all work is carry out observing safe working practices of self and others.
• Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.
• Personal Development: Arrange an annual appraisal with your line manager in accordance with the company’s appraisal process.
• Practice personal continuous improvement by attending any relevant courses, assimilate information provided on new product lines. And develop an understanding of the latest technology, and how to diagnose and repair faults.

Requirements for Role of Road Assist Mechanic

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years experience in road assist mechanics.
