Rider Health & Safety Specialist Talabat UAE 

Talabat is currently hiring suitable candidate for job role of Rider Health & Safety Senior Specialist in Dubai. The incumbent will directly impact the riders health, safety & wellbeing across the MENA region and will a key leader in super exciting tech solutions, pioneering safety initiatives as well as active process auditing in all 8 markets.

Responsibilities of Rider Health & Safety Specialist

• Lead in analyzing the data to understand the top focus areas for improvement.
• Lead in implementing region-wide action plans suggest ideas based on industry research and rider feedback.
• Auditing BAUs, identifying efficiencies/Inefficacies i.e. telematics, accident validation and IMS to drive improvement.
• Investigating Incidents suggesting/developing mitigations for local markets to adopt.
• Develop and maintain safety SOPs ensuring that all markets follow and update accordingly.
• Keeping up to date with local safety regulations & practice.
• Supporting the Manager H&S strategizing, executing new & existing safety projects.
• Support in execution of specific objectives, such as road safety weeks, social media ridessafety campaigns and the implementation of innovative technology solutions, to name a few.
• Measure the success of initiatives to quantify the impact, iterate and improve.
• Support local teams in documenting action plans and local adaptations of regional initiatives.
• Ensure timely project delivery and clear progress reporting.

Requirements for Role of Rider Health & Safety Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Advantageous but not essential is to have a safety qualification either IOSH or Nebosh IGC individual or full.
• 5-6 years health & safety experience ideally within logistics.
• Proven project management experience.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• A purpose-driven individual who can strengthen the Regional Rider Affairs team.
• Data-driven, likes to analyse data, derive insights and present findings concisely.
• Excellent presentation building skills P-Point and or G-Slides.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Urdu or Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Organized, with keen attention to detail and high standards of quality of work.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can easily adapt to change and multitasking.
• A self-motivated and curious personality, that enjoys researching industry practices and going the extra mile to make an impact on  riders well-being and happiness.
