Responsibilities of Rider Equipment & Inventory Specialist

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of rider equipment and inventory management.
  • Procure rider equipment with an emphasis on high quality and timely delivery.
  • Establish and maintain efficient tracking and documentation systems for comprehensive inventory management.
  • Coordinate the streamlined equipment distribution to riders, optimizing logistical processes for effectiveness.
  • Conduct creative surveys to guarantee the quality and functionality of all rider equipment.
  • Keep riders well being at heart.
  • Anticipate inventory needs based on rider growth and demand, contributing valuable insights for strategic planning.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies governing inventory management.
  • Generate & analyze detailed reports on equipment utilization, losses, and replacements.
  • Be a key contributor in managing the P&L for Talabat inventory regionally.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Provide timely and effective training and support to the local team, promptly addressing equipment-related issues.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with equipment procurement, distribution and replacements.
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvements to optimize overall effectiveness.
  • Develop emergency contingency plans, ensuring a rapid and effective response in case of equipment shortages or other unforeseen events.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the role of Rider Equipment & Inventory Specialist are as under:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • 3-4 years experience in a Logistics support role is preferred.
