Responsibilities of Revenue Coordinator

  • Responsible for all admin related tasks in the department, including invoices, accruals, monthly payroll attendance in coordination with the Talent & Culture Team.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data related to room reservations, occupancy rates, pricing, and revenue. Identify trends and patterns to provide actionable insights.
  • Support revenue managers in forecasting room revenue and demand to help in planning and decision-making.
  • Update and maintain rates and availability in various distribution channels, such as the hotel’s website, online travel agencies, and global distribution systems.
  • Monitor and research competitor pricing and strategies to make recommendations for pricing adjustments and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate all internal and external correspondence in the department, answering the phone, blocking the team’s calendar etc.
  • Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service to clients and internal colleagues mostly conducted via phone and email
  • Update and maintain rates and availability in various distribution channels, such as the hotel’s website, online travel agencies, and global distribution systems.
  • Prepare regular reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly reports, to track key performance indicators. Present findings and recommendations to the revenue management team.
  • Assist in creating, implementing, and monitoring promotional offers and packages to attract guests and increase revenue.
  • Assist with the creation and organization of all SOPs related to the department
  • Creates and follows up on incident reports related to IT / Revenue / Distribution related matters
  • Assists with benchmarking exercises
  • Assists in collecting and preparing presentations for the Revenue / Reservations Department
  • Assists room reservations during peak demand periods
  • Supports with Total revenue management initiatives
  • Prepares Meetings minutes and distributes as needed
  • Supports the cluster functions for Fairmont, Movenpick JLT and Riva Beach Club
  • Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors with revenue-related inquiries.

Requirements of Revenue Coordinator

The requirements of Revenue Coordinator are as under:

  • Bachelors degree in the relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy of work
  • High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Oasys, Opera and Word
  • Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills
  • Previous experience as a Reservations Supervisor or Revenue Intern/Analyst willing to grow in the Revenue Management Field
  • Flexible and accommodating personality
  • Experience and strong drive towards data quality.
