Job Purpose of A Retail Sales Executive

To maximize sales by selling cars and reach out to potential customers to surplus the business.

Duties of A Retail Sales Executive

• Handle telephone inquiries from customers relating to vehicle prices and availability, warranty matters, and follows-up on previous inquiries.
• Deals with walk-in customers in the showroom.
• Prepare tenders, quotations and replies to inquiries in consultation with sales manager.
• Prepare daily call reports and weekly hot prospect sheet for submission to the Sales Manager.
• Responsible for achieving agreed sales targets.
• In the absence of the Sales Co-Ordinator and the Assistant Manager – Showroom.
• Receives the vehicle and performs receiving inspection.
• Gathers market information as requested.
• Prospects for new customers through research, referral selling.
• Receives on phone or walk-in, after-sales complaints and service problems, and in turn tries to solve them.
• Arranges and conducts demonstrations and test drives.
• Coordinate with service centre for effective customer care.
• Perform all the activities in compliance with the Company’s QHSEMS and as per the assigned specific responsibilities.
• Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the line Manager.

Qualification & Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Automotive/ Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar profile within the automotive industry.

Skills Desired

• Fluent in English, Arabic an advantage.
• Strong marketing skills.
• UAE – Driving license.
