Retail Loans Pricing Manager at Emirates NBD focuses on developing and implementing pricing strategies based on assessment of various risk associated factors in lending credit products, expanding target segments to facilitate increased acquisition, enhance retail asset onboarding and servicing journeys for improved customer experience. The role requires collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, and business partners such as dealerships and developers, to understand their requirements and address challenges related to pricing, and support in implementing innovative and value-added solutions. The candidate should strive to achieve high level of performance and quality in delivering digital initiatives in line retail assets business strategy.

Responsibilities of Retail Loans Pricing Manager

• Assist segment RMs in maximizing coverage, transaction volumes, wallet share and profitability.
• Contribute to business planning by proving insights and recommendations on IT initiatives to drive portfolio growth and new acquisition.
• Leverage Dubai government digital initiative to build seamless banking experience for the customers through blockchain, UAE Pass, Emirates ID reading etc.
• Work with Auto Loans dealerships, and Home Loan developers to extend lending journey to partner channels.
• Engage IT security, legal, Ops Risk, cybersecurity, processing team and other IT team to define a framework for processing loan applications sourced via partner channels.
• Collaborate with Fintech team to leverage open banking offerings to enable seamless customer experience for lending journey.
• Dive end to end digital partnership from drafting the proposal, proof of concept, pilot project, measuring market response, and planning enhancements.
• Work with IT teams to enhance existing customers to drive straight through approvals by leveraging IT capabilities.
• Design and develop SAS business rules, SAS rule flows, and decision flows, to support customer segmentation, retail loan policy and pricing variance offers.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to validate and test pricing engine release from various phases of project management cycle.
• Monitor project risks and proactively identify potential roadblocks, implementing mitigation strategies by aligning stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Manage project communication, including regular status updates, progress reports, and issue resolution, to ensure transparency and alignment across teams.

Requirements of Retail Loans Pricing Manager

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• A master’s degree is a plus.
• 2 plus years of experience in similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Risk Analysis – assessing portfolio, analyzing factors that impacts customers’ risk profile and recommend pricing strategies.
• Pricing Strategy – develop pricing strategies that is aligned with risk assessment ensuring products are priced competitively while mitigating potential losses and optimizing revenue.
