Job Description

GMG is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Retail Brand Marketing Executive to oversee and execute retail brand marketing activities. This role focuses on executing strategies with brand concepts, customer preferences, and door formats while ensuring seamless execution of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and store-level marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience in collaborating with marketing production agencies, managing trade marketing activities, and delivering high-quality in-store and brand experiences. This is an Executive level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 7000-15000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Retail Brand Marketing Executive

  • Campaign Execution & Tracking:
  • Develop and implement seasonal brand campaign initiatives, including updates and sale launches, in alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Manage marketing initiatives across assigned stores, adhering to strict timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing production agencies to ensure timely production and delivery of branding elements.
  • Prepare comprehensive recap reports for all activations and executions.
  • Collaborate with the product/buying team to align seasonal priorities, door plans, and product availability.
  • Store-Level Marketing Execution:
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure the quality and accuracy of in-store branding elements, taking corrective action for any imperfections.
  • Oversee the production and installation of point-of-purchase (POP) elements, trade marketing materials, and in-store visuals.
  • Work closely with trade marketing teams to create and execute effective floor plans, store layouts, and promotional displays tailored to specific store needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with operations, brand and product teams, and the visual merchandising (VM) team to align on seasonal narratives and store-level marketing needs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, marketing production agencies, and trade marketing teams to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements for Role of Retail Brand Marketing Executive

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of retail marketing or trade marketing experience, preferably in the GCC region.
  • Proven experience working with marketing production agencies and managing the end-to-end production process for branding elements.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong knowledge of production, materials, and costing.
  • Expertise in trade marketing, including store layouts, POP elements, and promotional campaigns.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent multitasking and time management abilities.
  • A keen eye for detail and quality in marketing executions.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
