Responsibilities of Restaurant Cashier

• Greet customers as they enter the restaurant in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with company policies.
• Calculate and issue change accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about menu items, promotions, and restaurant policies.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning dining areas, and other tasks as needed during slow periods.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.

Requirements of Restaurant Cashier

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in similar role.
