- Know the hotel’s rooms, deals, and activities to share with guests.
- Keep booking details right in the hotel’s system, like Opera PMS.
- Handle special guest requests to make their stay feel personal.
- Work with travel agents or companies to lock in bookings.
- Build good relationships with guests by suggesting fun options.
- Follow hotel rules to do well in surprise quality checks.
- Keep guest records neat for marketing and tracking.
- Check room availability and set rates to help hotel profits.
- Help the reservations team with projects, like signing up loyalty members.
- Use the hotel’s phone system and tools like Resaweb without trouble.
- Tell the boss right away if there’s a problem with bookings.
- Make guests feel excited about their stay from the first call.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or something similar, showing 10 years of school.
- A hospitality or hotel management course is nice but not needed.
Experience:
- At least 2 years in customer service, like at a hotel or resort.
- Reservations agent experience in a fancy hotel is a plus.
Skills:
- Speak and write English and Russian clearly to talk with guests.
- Notice small details, like booking codes or guest wishes.
- Stay calm when handling lots of tasks in a busy office.
