Rehab Administrative Assistant NMC Healthcare Abu Dhabi

NMC Healthcare is currently looking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Rehab Administrative Assistant in Provita, Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-7000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Rehab Administrative Assistant

  • Manager of Rehabilitation Services in conjunction with the Manager, Rehabilitation Services.
  • Maintenance of files copying and scanning of documents to Medical Records and maintaining a log book.
  • Maintain accurate inventory trackers i.e. equipment; consumables; splinting supplies.
  • Purchase program supplies and small equipment needed while maintaining program/group activity
  • Manage accurate records for activity expense floats.
  • Arrange venues for meetings and minute taking and minute transcribing.
  • Answer or redirect general inquiries in person, by telephone and via email; direct calls and messages to all staff.
  • Assist in audits as required within the departments under the supervision of the Therapists
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness and supply stocks in all clinical areas
  • Assists therapists on external trips when required
  • Participate in social activities which are non patient related under the direction of a therapist.
  • Assist with the setup of therapy sessions as directed by the therapist. This will include arranging scheduled timings, cancellations as well as the necessary equipment needed.
  • Assist with conducting group activities setup and planning should be done in conjunction with the therapist.
  • Assist with planning and organizing therapy related or other events eg: Therapy Day, etc.
  • Organize storage areas and maintain general order/neatness of the office common areas, meeting rooms and work areas.
  • To undertake any other appropriate additional duties as required by the Manager, Rehabilitation Services.
  • Communication: Communicates directly to the Manager, Rehabilitation Services on all therapy related matters.
  • Communicates appropriately and clearly to coworkers and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Communicates the mission, vision and values of the facility.

  • Attends training sessions offered by NMC ProVita.
  • Dresses appropriately to the expectations of the specific work areas and Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all information in accordance with NMC ProVita policy.
  • Team Work: Participates as a valued team member, promoting and contributing to a supportive team environment.
  • Health, Safety and Security: Adheres to the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OSH-AD).
  • Understands and adheres to emergency preparedness, fire safety and code policies/plans.
  • They shall undertake his/her roles and responsibilities in accordance with general requirements of OSHAD SF-Element 01-Roles and responsibilities and self-regulation.
  • Has the responsibility for Environmental, Occupational Health and safety and Infection prevention and Control within the entire facility.
  • They shall report any hazard/risk and conduct a risk assessment at their area.
  • They have to complete their mandatory education and competencies as well as their specific education and competencies.
  • They shall report any serious injury or non-serious injury.
  • They shall participate in emergencies and mock drills.
  • Follow up and correct the deficiencies identified during the inspections/audits that relates to them.
  • They shall attend OHS related committee meetings.

Requirements for Role of Rehab Administrative Assistant

  • High School Diploma in relevant field.
  • 1 year working experience after high school.
  • 1 year experience working as an Administrative Assistant, Rehabilitation Assistant or similar role.
  • First Aid/ Heart saver course.
