An exciting job opportunity has arisen at Ernst & Young for the role of a Regulatory and Public Policy Lawyer, where you will have the chance to work with many high-profile organizations on a range of diverse and interesting engagements as part of the business they do with other service lines within EY. You can expect to be involved in a multitude of complex engagements for governments, governmental entities and regulators, and other clients across multiple countries within the Middle East, helping our clients deal with the evolution of their business and provide them with valuable advice. This includes conducting current state assessments of the regulatory or legislative framework across various sectors, participating in benchmark studies and producing reports providing recommendations and reports to clients. This is a mid level full time role. For this position salary can range between 15000 to 30000 AED/month.
Duties of A Regulatory & Public Policy Lawyer
- Managing the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding corporate and commercial law projects. Ensuring technical and practical excellence to maximize client service quality.
- Build and maintain new and existing client relationships both internally and externally.
- Contribute to the growth of the law practice by developing and implementing growth strategies for your area.
- Managel leads and opportunities from other areas of the law practice and the wider EY network and help them do the same.
- Contribute to the development of the legal practice through initiatives such as delivering internal training, developing precedents, sharing knowhow, participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications.
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching, mentoring other members of your team while simultaneously adhering to EY’s protocols and policies for client engagements and interactions.
Eligibility Requirements
The eligibility requirements for role of a Regulatory & Public Policy Lawyer are as under:
- At least 5 years of post-qualification experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal practice environment.
- Experience in coaching and developing more junior staff.
- Comprehensive prior experience in delivering legal consultancy services to government, governmental entities, GREs, regulators or other similar clients including benchmark studies.
