Registration & Logistics Specialist Unilever UAE

Unilever has announced an exciting opportunity for the role of Registration & Logistics Specialist in Dubai. The incumbent will respresent Unilever, ensuring that all products launched by Unilever in the GCC region are registered with relevant local authorities, supporting the business in landing all projects within timelines and responsible for monitoring the shipments.

Responsibilities of Registration & Logistics Specialist

• Product Registration: Perform new product registration with registration authorities.
• Manage product registration for relaunched items.
• Manage product registration done through third party service providers.
• Leading product registration by coordinating with respective country teams.
• Support the respective country team on registration documents.
• Full understanding of registration requirements and guidelines.
• Sharing and creating awareness about registration requirements with relevant stakeholders.
• Document collection, verification and preparation.
• Support 3rd party service providers on any special requirements or requests.
• Manage sample collection and lab testing for product registration.
• Maintain registration trackers across all markets.
• Sharing registration updates and reports within the business.
• Manage registration payments & maintain payment records.
• Initiate and lead team meetings during registration challenges.
• Support the inbound and outbound clearance teams (providing registration details, getting DM approvals, etc.).
• Archive all registration documents.
• Do external communications with government authorities for registration and clearance support.
• Digitalization of the registration process (project design and execution)
• Make sure that all registration KPIs are achieved.
• GIT Monitoring: Manage all transporters to ensure that daily trackers are updated and shared.
• Ensure all data is reflected correctly on Unilever’s online tools.
• Perform delay analysis and send notification emails to the corresponding people for further action.

Requirements of Registration & Logistics Specialist

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or related field.
• 2 or 3 years of experience in FMCG industry or retail industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Full proficiency of English and Arabic languages.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Strong data management skills.
• Knowledge on GCC Regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT).
• SAP or any ERP system knowledge is a plus.
• Power BI knowledge.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes.
• Self starter, independent thinker, action-oriented and passionate.
