Kanad Hospital is presently seeking a dedicated and competent Registered Nurse Pediatrics (Female only) in Al Ain, UAE. This vacancy is recently announced by the hospital and applications are now being accepted from all eligible candidates. The role holder after selection will be accountable for ensuring all health services she provides are consistent with her education and assessed competence, meet legislative requirements and are supported by appropriate standards.

Role of Registered Nurse Pediatrics

Establish and maintain a therapeutic partnership with patients (age 20 days to 13 years) and their families to achieve optimum health and well-being through appropriate assessment, critical analysis of clinical information, clinical reasoning, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and education.

Duties as Registered Nurse Pediatrics

• Accept responsibility and accountability for all actions and decision making within scope of practice as defined by DOH.
• Adhere to the Code of Conduct for DOH, and the organization.
• Complete mandatory and unit specific competencies and demonstrate ongoing compliance with appropriate evidence.
• Develop and maintain own professional portfolio.
• Take responsibility for own professional development and actively engage in ongoing self-directed learning.
• Obtain accredited and non-accredited Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) Units in compliance with DOH requirements.
• Complete mandatory annual staff training requirements.
• Participate in self and peer evaluation including reflective practice.
• Maintain any qualifications, including license and certificates such as Basic Life Support and other mandatory training within established time-frames.
• Complying consistently with all organization policies, procedures and practices relevant to position.
• Demonstrate leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.

• Provide appropriate health education and information to the needs of the patient and their family.

• Demonstrate the ability to apply the principles of cross-cultural knowledge and culturally sensitive skills in implementing culturally congruent safe nursing care.

• Attain knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice. Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of two (2) years related nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• DOH licensed / DOH Exam Passer / Exam Exempted / (DHA/MOH license holder will be considered).
