Responsibilities of Registered Nurse OR

• Provide professional nursing care to the patients.
• Provide a wide range of quality professional nursing care functions using the Nursing Process with emphasis on direct patient care and related activities.
• Receive supervision and direction from Operating Room Nursing Unit Charge Nurse and Head Nurse.
• Willing to work on call after duty hours.
• Perform work on split shift and as required, in Operating Room Nursing Unit.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team involved in patient care for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing plan of care.
• Carry out OR doctor’s orders.
• Mentor newly hired and newly assigned nursing staff for orientation and integration into the nursing unit.
• Assist with medical procedures and report changes in the patient’s condition to the physician.
• Maintain routine contacts with the public through patients, families and visitors.

Education & Experience

To be eligible for the role of Registered Nurse OR (Operating Room), you should fulfil the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s in Nursing or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of clinical experience.
