Al Zahra Hospital Dubai
Pioneering Private Healthcare in Dubai
Al Zahra Hospital Dubai is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Midwife to join its Women & Children’s Health team. This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate midwifery professional to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns in one of Dubai’s leading private hospitals. If you are committed to delivering woman-centred, evidence-based care in a state-of-the-art clinical environment, this role is designed for you.
Al Zahra Hospital Dubai has established itself as a cornerstone of women’s healthcare in the UAE. With advanced labour and delivery suites, neonatal care facilities, and a multidisciplinary clinical team, the hospital offers an environment where midwives can thrive professionally. The hospital is recognised for its commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and staff development, making it an ideal workplace for midwifery professionals looking to grow their careers in Dubai.
As a Registered Midwife at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, you will serve as the primary care provider for women throughout their antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal journey. You will assess and respond to the full spectrum of needs for every woman in your care, applying clinical skills developed through extensive experience. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, monitoring fetal and maternal wellbeing, managing normal deliveries, and providing breastfeeding and postnatal education to mothers and families.
In this position, you will be responsible for the assessment and delivery of care to all women under your clinical supervision. You will practice as a prime care provider, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of midwifery care — from admission through discharge. Additional duties include maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with obstetricians and neonatologists, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and adhering to Al Zahra Hospital Dubai’s clinical protocols and DHA guidelines. Supporting newly qualified midwives and contributing to a positive ward culture are also expected elements of this role.
Candidates must hold a recognised midwifery qualification along with current licensure or eligibility for registration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). A minimum of two years of postgraduate clinical experience in labour and delivery, antenatal, or postnatal care is required. Candidates with experience in high-risk obstetrics or neonatal care will be given preference. Strong communication skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential for success in this role.
Al Zahra Hospital Dubai offers a tax-free monthly salary in the range of AED 12,000 to AED 22,000, commensurate with qualifications and years of experience. The compensation package includes accommodation support, annual flight allowance, medical insurance, and paid annual leave. The hospital also supports professional development through continuing education opportunities, DHA exam preparation assistance, and access to international midwifery conferences and workshops.
Dubai offers midwifery professionals an unmatched quality of life combined with competitive, tax-free salaries. The UAE healthcare sector is expanding rapidly, with significant investment in women’s and maternal health services. Working at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai places you at the forefront of this growth, in a multicultural environment with access to cutting-edge facilities.
