Regional BOD Manager Johnson Controls UAE

Johnson Controls is currently hiring experienced and qualified candidate for the job role of Regional BOD Manager (HVAC,CONTROLS & FIRE) in Dubai. Candidate will be a key role reporting directly to the General Manager Applied Business responsible for direct business across Middle East region. Candidate will be based in Dubai and work with the Install team that focus on the Johnson Controls HVAC, Controls & Fire business to secure orders and achieve business objectives. Job holder will target to have HVAC, Controls & Fire Products specified by consultants, Client Engineering Teams into their bids and projects by positions Johnson Controls as a First Choice through developing long term relationships and technical support.

Responsibilities of Regional BOD Manager

• Will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform to use  experience to deliver business objectives for Middle East & Africa region.
• Manage a team of BOD Engineers dedicated for HVAC, Controls & Fire Products to facilitate sales team, consultants, developer & end users on design and specification.
• Will liaise with R&D, Training, Product Management & Technical Support resources to ensure that proposals and feature requests include technical solutions.
• Attend sales exhibitions, trade shows, conduct technical training & seminars for consultants to enhance their knowledge of product portfolio.
• Develop necessary design, technical and marketing tools to support clients on existing and new products.
• Maintain record of targeted opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company approved databases.
• A hunter driven to seek & develop strong customer relationships, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of working independently to drive territory growth.
• Perseverant, tenacious & consistent in approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of excellent planning, organization & time management skills.

Requirements for Role of Regional BOD Manager

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting sales/business development experience in HVAC, Controls or Fire Business of which minimum.
• 3 years in a Senior Position with Team leading capabilities.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Proven track record of having HVAC, Controls or Fire products specified by Consultants & Installers into their bids & projects.
• Proficient in generating new business by using existing & potential customer networks.
• Ability to lead, develop strategic partnerships & present concepts and articulate business values to consultants, developer & key decision makers.
• Self-starter, tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique & optimize performance.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Flexible in travelling.
