Queen Elizabeth II (QE2) is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Refrigerator Technician in Accor Hotels Dubai UAE. The job holder is responsible for maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems within the hotel properties, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency to support the hotel’s commitment to guest comfort and operational excellence.

Responsibilities of Refrigerator Technician

• Responsible for maintenance and repair of all mechanical heating machines, air conditioning & refrigeration, AC, and fan coil units in rooms and offices and all the service areas of the hotel.
• Verification of door closing system on walk-in freezers and refrigerators (door gaskets, latches, etc.)
• Controls and maintains all the defrosting elements and heaters for evaporators and doors.
• Systematic control of freezers, cleaning of condensers, the performance of fans, verification of locks and gaskets, and control of unit’s temperatures.

Requirements of Refrigerator Technician

• Technical diploma/certification or vocational education or training.
• 1-2 years of previous experience in the field required.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Reasonably high level of knowledge and skill in Air conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical.
• Must have the ability to multi task.
• Should have knowledge and skills to work with Chillers, Freezers, split units, AHU, fan coils, cold rooms.
• Proficient in the English language (verbal & written), second language is an asset.
