Recruitment Manager Al Masaood Abu Dhabi

Recruitment Manager at Al Masaood is responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance the group’s recruitment efforts, ensure brand consistency and support Emiratization initiatives. Candidate will lead a team of recruiters, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to building a strong and diverse workforce.

Responsibilities of Recruitment Manager

  • Develop and lead strategic initiatives to recruit and select a high-caliber, professional & diverse workforce that reflects Al Masaood’s values and culture.
  • Ensure job & career advertisements conform to the brand guidelines for Al Masaood to ensure they are positioned as an employer of choice.
  • Support Emiratization efforts by participating in Job fairs, conducting open days in University and College as well as ensuring online and social media career activity supports this segment.
  • Work closely with Emiratization specialists to ensure the Group’s MoHRE status is maintained and convince businesses/departments to hire Emiratis.
  • Provide innovative insight and ideas for filling complex and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Maintain a cost-free, efficient channel mix of hiring.
  • Implement progressive sourcing strategies including networking, social media, professional associations & organizations to provide access to top-tier applicants.
  • Partner and work with external third-party recruitment agencies as a co-ordination point for CVs, interviews & outcome feedback; ensure vendor contracts are in place and approved.
  • Conduct regional/overseas hiring campaigns for technical / labor level, when required.
  • Work with internal customers (GM’s & HOD’s) to ensure all new positions comply with the Group standards and policies and requisitions are signed off and completed for each new vacancy along with the job deliverables. Participate in discussions on succession and feed into hiring plans.
  • Ensure high levels of team motivation and a healthy, pleasant culture within the Recruitment team.
  • Creatively look for ways to increase efficiency of the hiring process.
  • Build positive, credible & strong relationships with all GMs/HODs to understand and meet the hiring needs of their respective business unit/department.
  • Develop hot-lists of staff for future key positions across Al Masaood. Undertake website registrations as well enquiries from other channels including walk ins, staff referrals, online applications as well as written applications.
  • Coordinate with MARCOM to develop compelling social media campaigns to attract talent including Emirati nationals.

  • Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining & enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations.
  • Research and implement new sourcing methods and job advertising platforms to find untapped talent pools.
  • Coordinate completion of background checks and manage all professional references and offer letters.
  • Ensure internal customers get weekly updates on the status of their recruitment, managing expectations. And providing support and guidance on manpower plans.
  • Supervise the recruitment team in its daily operations by acting as a coach and mentor.
  • Set recruitment goals for team, monitor performance and report results.
  • Recommend and monitor professional development for recruitment team.
  • Train and supervise team members on company processes and policies.
  • Deliverables/Self-Management Responsibilities.
  • Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the Line Manager. And ensures to achieve goals during the year.
  • Identifies the training and development requirements for self and agrees on them with the Line Manager to ensure that the required trainings are arranged and attended.
  • Strives to achieve the highest levels of proficiency on all the competencies and skills required to perform the role.

Requirements for Role of Recruitment Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or in a related field.
