Job Description
Emirates Cabin Crew Recruitment & Operations (linked to Emirates Airlines) is looking for a dedicated Recruitment Events & Projects Specialist to lead diverse portfolios by managing complex and critical developments across the business unit. Candidate will include leading a variety of international projects and events, supporting expert Cabin Crew recruiters and establishing strong relationships with stakeholders and institutions across the world. This vacancy is initially a one-year temporary position and requires extensive travel globally.
Responsibilities of Recruitment Events & Projects Specialist
- Be an Ambassador for Emirates and set up events for promotional and PR purposes specifically to source cabin crew.
- Co-ordinate off-base recruiters and HRBPs communication and collaboration.
- Engage academic institutions and build strategic partnerships.
- Create long-term relationships with world renowned hospitality, travel & tourism and aviation schools.
- Deliver projects and other initiatives aligned to organizational goals and strategy.
- Ensure project/ event delivery within agreed scope and timeline.
- Facilitate effective and proactive management of key internal and external stakeholders, driving confidence and transparency, facilitating regular updates and discussions on the impact of the projects on their respective businesses.
- Manage the planning, forecasting of budgets and resources required, developing business cases to highlight benefits realization throughout project implementation.
- Identify, support and deliver business process improvement opportunities and facilitating subsequent change management activities.
Requirements for Role of Recruitment Events & Projects Specialist
- Degree or Honors OR 12 years education.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and project management, preferably in a recruitment or HR-related role (With Degree).
- 8+ years of experience in event planning and project management, preferably in a recruitment or HR-related role (Without Degree).
- Must have practical experience working in events management internationally.
- Project management experience in airlines, travel, or hospitality.
- Proven experience in project management, process improvement, analytics, change management, and strategy development.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Ability to quickly grasp new business concepts, understand organizational issues and challenges and understand dependencies across businesses.
- Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of several languages.
