Looking for receptionist jobs in Abu Dhabi schools? Muna British Academy, part of the Aldar Education network, is seeking a Receptionist for an immediate start. Additionally, this ADEK-rated Outstanding school is relocating to Saadiyat Island and currently serves over 700 students from Nursery to Year 6, with plans to open Year 7 for the first time next year. This position is open to UAE National candidates.

About the Role

As a Receptionist at Muna British Academy, you will act as a strong ambassador for the school by representing the institution in a professional manner and offering high-quality customer service to families, children, visitors, and staff. Furthermore, you will manage attendance registers, handle admissions enquiries, and provide general administrative support to the school leadership team. Moreover, this front-of-house role requires excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Arabic and strong interpersonal abilities for daily contact with parents in a diverse multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality customer service to all visitors and staff, greeting them in a friendly and helpful manner
• Answer and respond to parent queries with strong knowledge of the academy’s key information
• Ensure attendance registers are accurately maintained and all children are accounted for daily
• Complete class registers and record details of late and absent students using school software
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls following standard telephone etiquette
• Assist the admissions team with inbound and outbound calls and log enquiries into MIS database
• Provide general clerical and administrative support including photocopying, filing, and data entry
• Maintain reception area to be tidy and presentable with all necessary materials

Requirements

• High School Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar receptionist or front desk role
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, both written and oral
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook 365
• Strong interpersonal skills for daily contact with parents in a multicultural environment
• Excellent office management skills and customer-focused approach
