Consumer Goods industry is looking for someone who is meticulous and detail oriented, to fill the position of Receiving Clerk in their Accounts Section. In addition to managing cashier duties, this position involves receiving and inventory management within the accounts department.

Responsibilities of Receiving Clerk

  • The role involves handling cashier duties, receiving and inventory management, accounting support, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • It involves processing cash, credit card, and electronic payments, providing excellent customer service, reconciling daily transactions, and ensuring timely processing.
  • The role also involves coordinating with vendors and internal departments, maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, receipts, and invoices.

Requirements of Receiving Clerk

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years as a cashier or accounts assistant is advantageous.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
