Responsibilities of Radiographer

• Perform routine sonography and general radiographic procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients.
• Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements.
• Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards.
• Ensure equipment calibration and performance of maintenance functions.

Role Requirements

Following is the eligibility criteria for the role of Radiographer/ Sonographer at Mediclinic:

Education

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging or a Diploma in Radiology (minimum three (3) years course duration) from an accredited institution.

Certification

• Valid BLS certificate.

Experience

• At least 2-3 years’ relevant experience in general radiography and ultrasound procedures.

Job Skills & Knowledge

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies.
• Knowledge of Operating Theatre radiological procedures.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
