Job Purpose of A Quantity Surveyor
Manage and estimate the cost of NPCC Offshore construction projects and provide necessary assistance to the projects construction team concerning all financial aspects and contractual matters.
Job Duties of A Quantity Surveyor
- Estimate the cost linked with construction projects along with materials, equipment, labor and other requirements.
- Assist in making projects construction budget and work to remain within these limits.
- Prepare tender documents, evaluate bids from contractors and select the most suitable contractor based on cost analysis.
- Keep an eye on the expenditure or cost monitoring during the project and report to officials in case of cost/financial overdoing.
- Identify and manage any financial and contractual risk linked with the construction project.
- Perform any other job duty.
