Quant Developer Charterhouse Abu Dhabi

Charterhouse is currently working with a global investment management company who is looking to hire a Quant Developer-Front End, to join their global technology team.

Responsibilities

• This is a great opportunity to join a growing a global financial services firm that has a talented technology division.
• Responsible for development, UI and Performance of the quantitative trading platform.
• This role will be required to work closely with multiple teams across the business to gather requirements and feedback.
• The team has a focus on performance optimization. In addition, this role will be responsible for the applications ensuring they work at maximum speed, efficiency and scalability.
• The Quant Developer will be a senior member of the team and mentor, coach more junior developers.

Requirements of Quant Developer

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a developer, having strong experience with React.
• Previous background of (financial, trading or related fields.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and other web technologies.
• A big focus on UI Development will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and process oriented.
• Highly motivated and result driven individual.
