Quality Officer Abu Dhabi Ports UAE

The Noatum Logistics Quality Officer at Abu Dhabi Ports will be responsible to assist GDP Specialist in handling the daily Quality Assurance program, maintaining applicable work instruction and procedures. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the execution of initiatives related to Quality management and provide operational assistance on related issues such as SOP implementation, deviation management, Internal Audits, customer complaints management, action plans development, risk management or identification evaluation.

Duties of Quality Officer

• Assist GDP specialist in providing technical Quality assurance and continuous improvement support within the cluster.
• Provide positive interaction at all levels of the cluster management.
• Liaise with operations and ensure developing & execution of CAPA for customer complaints and ensure compliance with customer’s specifications.
• Support to ensure compliance with the Quality management Systems requirements & Protocols, in accordance with Company Policies and applicable regulations and standards.
• Perform Quality induction training for newcomers and support to perform emergency planning and preparedness.
• Support Process Development and ensure all necessary documents or records are maintained and presentable during audits.
• Assist in conducting regular (self-) inspections/ Audits of Quality assurance practices within the business functions in compliance to AD Ports IMS.
• Present timely quality process review, nonconforming records for nonconforming practices, relevant investigations and CAPAs.
• Maintain Quality objective complementary to company’s policies & goals.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements for role of Quality Officer are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, or business administration. 
• Minimum of 3 year of experience in Quality management in any industry (preferable logistics/ retails).
