Quality Lab Head Unilever Dubai

Unilever is currently looking to hire a experienced candidate for the role of Quality Lab Head in X3CG+WGM, Mina Jebel Ali, Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 10000-25000 AED/month.

Responsibilities

• Quality Lab management for personal care factory.
• Management of consumables, instruments, key systems in the laboratory.
• Managing a team of 8 analysts, assigning them daily tasks and follow up on their career development.
• Working with suppliers to improve quality defect time loss due to raw and packaging materials.
• Working with 3rd party suppliers to continue with their current certification of ISO 9001-2015, ISO 22715 (certification & recertification) and Emirates Quality Mark.
• Working on key Quality systems for daily production management, leading QMS program.
• Leading Quality risk assessments for any new project coming to DPC.
• Leading Lab Digital Transformation, leading Quality One Modules for the factory.
•  Outputs/Performance Metrics: Quality defect time reduction as per the target.
• Cost of Quality reduction (overtime and consumables) as per the aligned target.
• Lab Systems improvement as per the target.
• Zero incidents related to innovations.

Requirements for Role of Quality Lab Head

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical/laboratory management or engineering.
• SAP QM.
• ISO certification.
• Laboratory Certification.
• 2-5 Years experience in FMCG preferably in Laboratory Management.
• Experience in managing a team.
