Purpose of A Quality Inspector

Function as a Quality Inspector for the coating plants.

Your Job Duties As A Quality Inspector Manufacturing (Coating) At National Oilwell Varco (NOV) UAE

• Check calibration, tests, quality processes & requirement, customer needs & operational application & record the results.
• Perform visual inspection, measure the coating thickness and record results.
• Assist in the pipe tally and ensure that the measurements are correct and recorded.
• Check conformity to SOP or customer specifications in all operational matters.
• Ensure deviation is reported to QC Supervisor (if any) and apply correct actions.
• Develop work Instruction as required.
• Distribute work Instruction accordingly.
• Monitor production and inspection.
• Monitor and requisition gauges for calibration.
• Control Re processed pipes, spools and fitting (NSC Reports – closing out).
• Provide inspection support as required.
• Follow all the company HSEMS, QMS, policy and procedures.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Diploma in manufactuing, quality control, engineering or a related field.

Experience

• 2-3 years experience in a similar work environment needed.
• Coating experience is a must.
