The Lycée Libanais Francophone Privé Meydan needs a qualified Primary School Teacher. This full time role involves teaching French, mathematics, history, geography, science, and visual arts. You will follow the official French National Education curriculum. Your goal is to provide a humanistic education based on excellence, respect, equity, and cultural openness. The ideal candidate holds a CRPE or equivalent qualification. You also need at least two years of teaching experience in primary education. Key Responsibilities for Qualified Primary School Teacher Dubai, UAE

• Teach all primary subjects including French, mathematics, history, geography, sciences, and visual arts. Follow the official French curriculum and ensure pedagogical consistency. Adapt your teaching to the specific needs of students and the local AEFE context.
• Prepare and organise lesson sequences based on curriculum objectives and the school’s project. Take into account different student learning paces. Assess student progress regularly and identify their needs. Propose support or remedial measures for struggling students. Report specific needs to the EBEP team and school leadership.
• Collaborate actively with teachers across the cycle, year level, and school. Ensure continuity and coherence of learning across disciplines. Participate in pedagogical meetings and team projects. Help develop common projects such as interdisciplinary activities and school trips.
• Differentiate your teaching approach. Adapt your methods and tools to meet varied student needs, including different paces, levels, and learning styles. Use a range of supports such as visual, auditory, tactile, and digital tools. Diversify your methods including group work, differentiated activities, and independent learning.
• Participate in school life. Attend cycle meetings, teacher councils, parent meetings, and other institutional events. Contribute to cultural and pedagogical activities like shows, exhibitions, and festive events. Finally, engage in ongoing professional development and stay informed about new teaching practices.

Qualifications

You need a CRPE or equivalent teaching qualification. A minimum of two years of teaching experience in primary education is required. A diploma in teaching French as a foreign language (FLE, FLS, or FLSco) is considered an asset. Experience in an international school setting is also an asset. Experience in special education is a plus. You must master the French National Education programmes. You need strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. Proficiency with digital tools is also important.
